ABOUT ME

Karima Alkhalid
Engineer, Planner, Baker
My love for baking started at a young age. Given that my mom is Mexican, my father is Yemeni, and I was born and raised in America, cuisine in our household was always different.

I wanted to hold onto to the family recipes and baking traditions in our culture, so I began learning with my family. After awhile, I started exploring recipes outside our household, and found myself loving baking even more.

After graduating Georgia Tech with a degree in Industrial Engineering and a minor in social justice, I started to work full time with Accenture as an AI Data Scientist.

In my spare time, I've found time to watch my favorite baking show, Great British Bakeoff, and fall for baking all over again. Now on the weekends, I always find myself wanting to try something new.

So whenever I try a recipe that comes out well, I'll make sure to post and share it with you all. I hope you enjoy!
